Junior Camogie
Our junior camogie team started their camogie league campaign with a win over Kilworth last Friday evening. This was Kilworthâ s first ever outing at this level and although they fought hard for every ball they were no match for our strong panel. We were delighted to be the first team to play them at home and we wish them well going forward in the campaign. Mile buiochas agus go n-eiri go geal libh. Our next league match is away against Mallow on Wednesday evening followed by a home match against St. Vincentâs this week-end with day and time tbc. Congratulations to Aibhin and Melissa on their Cork Junior Camogie team debut against Kerry last Sunday. Both girls represented the club and county with pride and although it was a tight match Cork ran out winners on the day.
Minor
Minor girls continue their winning ways with a win over Rockban on Monday evening last. Rockban provided very little opposition to us and we dominated in all areas of the pitch. We have won all our matches so far and are hopeful to move forward to the final.
